Four examples are pictured, two of which are a combination inkstand / match holder. They feature a thatched-roof hut by a millstream, with the roof hinged to access an inkwell inside. On the right side of the hut, there’s a holder for matches, and the steps leading into the hut form a striker plate for lighting them. The vegetation on the left side serves as a candleholder, while the rear of the hut has a pen holder shaped like a split rail fence. Next to the hut, a sluice gate controls the flow of water to a waterwheel, which is mounted on a spindle and can turn freely.
