This double inkstand features a detailed bronze figure of a Neoclassical soldier dressed in Roman-style armor, including a tunic, breastplate, and arm guards. He sits in a contemplative pose with his right hand on his chin and the left hand on his knee. The base is made of black onyx and includes a pen tray in the front. On either side of the soldier are two glass inkwells with brass lids.
