A cartoonish looking Genie wearing a blue hat (with a hole for a pen), eyebrows raised, looks intently at the magic lamp. He wears billowy pants with his pointed-toe slippers showing.
This inkwell is one of a series – cartoonish characters with bulbous bottoms and lift off top to reveal the ink pot. The head (top) has a hole to hold a pen. All were made in Germany.
