A cartoonish Dutch boy with smudges of dirt on his face holds a bouquet of flowers.  There is a pen hole in the top of his hat. Molded onto the back edge of the base are the numbers 6416. Marked on the bottom are “Germany” and “22”.

This inkwell is one of a series – cartoonish characters with bulbous bottoms and a lift off top to reveal the ink pot.  The head (top) has a hole to hold a pen. All were made in Germany.
