This inkstand holds a pair of inkwells with ornate lids on a cast iron base which features a shell-shaped area to hold writing accessories. At the center stands a figure of a colonial man, dressed in period attire. He is wearing a queue wig, characterized by its tail-like feature at the back, and is holding a tri-corner hat by his side.
