This cloisonné inkwell has a square base with slightly curved sides and a lid with a small knob on top. The surface is intricately decorated with colorful floral and geometric patterns, including flowers and circular motifs, set against a white background with black swirling lines. The colors used include red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. The edges of the inkwell are bordered with a red pattern. This inkwell’s origin is the Far East, Japan or China.
