This brass inkstand is designed with a Rococo or Neoclassical aesthetic, evident in the cherub figure, the ornate base, and the overall decorative style. The base features scrolling foliate designs and shell motifs typical of Rococo or Neoclassical styles. It features two glass inkwells, each with a lid that incorporates enamel work. A small, sculpted cherub figure sits atop a central support, acting as the focal point of the inkstand.
