A French Champlevé inkstand with an Arabesque design. The inkstand is made of bronze and features intricate enamel work. The base is a circular tray with a detailed pattern that includes blue, red, and white enamel inlays forming geometric and floral motifs. The inkwell in the center has a hinged lid with a finial and is decorated with the same enamel patterns. The design is detailed and showcases the craftsmanship typical of Champlevé enamel work, which involves carving out spaces in the metal and filling them with enamel.
