This French inkwell features Champlevé enamel work where grooves are carved into the surface and filled with enamel. The enamel is predominantly blue, with accents of white, red, and green forming intricate patterns. The body of the inkstand is urn-shaped and sits on a circular base designed with floral motifs and geometric patterns. The insert is missing from the inkwell.
