This piece features intricate Champlevé enamel work in vibrant colors, and includes an inkwell, a glue pot with handled brush, a pen holder in front, and a letter holder. E. G. Webster & Sons made this piece. The underside is marked “Pat Appl’d For” with a spider web with a “W” in the center.
