A double inkstand made of cast iron with an enamel finish. Examples in blue and green are shown. Art Nouveau in style, the inkstand has stylized, organic shapes in its pierced design elements. The square shapes and rectilinear patterns in the center and at the base provide a contrast to the flowing lines. The underside is embossed “BR20”.
