Buyer Be Aware! – Parrot Head Inkwell

This cold painted bronze parrot head appears to be a newer production. In recent years these parrots have shown up online with some frequency. Most, like this one, do not have an insert. If one has an insert, it’s ill-fitting. The hinge, like many of these modern bronze pieces, is heavy and protruding. The piece is marked “Austria” in large letters. This does not seem authentic. The inkwell is top-heavy. Open the top and the piece falls over.
