Buyer Be Aware – “Ornate Brass Victorian Inkwell”
This inkwell was sold on eBay as “antique”, “made of high-quality brass”. If the crude casting, low quality metal, clunky hinge, and brass insert don’t raise suspicions about the inkwell’s age, just look at Phillips head screws.
