Bronze inkwell in the form of a Moorish woman’s bust attached to a black slate base. She has reverse painted glass eyes, and wears a headband, turquoise earrings, and a turquoise accented hair net. Lift the top of her head to access a velvet lined space which holds a metal insert. I believe this piece was made by the Goldscheider Porcelain Factory in Austria.
