This inkstand in urn form features three griffins on a triform base supporting an inkwell with a putto holding an open book as the finial for the lid. Crafted in Milan, Italy during the late 19th century, it showcases the work of Antonio Pandiani (1838-1928). It is signed “A. Pandiani” on the base.
