This inkstand / letter holder combination boasts a beautiful filigree which includes birds, and gargoyles woven into an intricate pattern. In the middle is the face of a sun goddess. The cobalt porcelain inkwell, with its hinged lid and gold enameled leaf designs, is form-fitted for the base.
