This inkstand features a rectangular brass platform base with bead edges. On this base, there are two inkwells with hinged covers, and between them is a lidded box topped with a flame-shaped finial. The body of the inkstand showcases an open scrollwork design. Additionally, it is adorned with Medusa and lion mask mounts, which are classical motifs often associated with Renaissance art and mythology.
