This Bradley & Hubbard cast brass inkstand features an ornate design with intricate geometric patterns. The base of the inkstand is shaped as a parallelogram, with opposite sides that are equal with matching star point projections at the corners and in the center. The hinged top with a pen holder tilts back to reveal two inkwells. There is a pull-out drawer for stamps, nibs, etc. in the center. The base is marked with the number 6062.
Included with the pictures is a page from Bradley & Hubbard’s trade catalog from the 1880’s.
