This domed shaped inkwell with green glass latticework fitted with a brass cap was made by one of the glass manufacturers in Bohemia at the turn of the century – I’m attributing it to Kralik, though it may be from another. The layered glass technique involves applying threads of colored glass to the surface before it is fully formed. These threads are then melted into the glass during the shaping process.
