This blown clear glass inkwell with a green stripe down each corner to the base has a sterling silver collar and lid. The lid is monogrammed “E.A.” The collar is hallmarked “JTH JMH”, the maker’s mark for John Thomas Heath and John Hartshorne Middleton of Hukin and Heath. The hallmarks include an anchor for Birmingham, the British lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter for 1900. Hukin and Heath were located at Great Charles Street in Birmingham, England.
