The inkstand is a harmonious blend of brass and Baccarat crystal.

  • Brass Base: The hand-worked brass base is contoured, with curves and subtle feet. The Baccarat crystal inkwell is securely set into a circular recess within the brass base. The brass rim around the inkwell ensures a snug fit.
  • Baccarat Crystal Inkwell: The central and most prominent feature is a large, singular inkwell crafted from Baccarat crystal.
    • “Swirl” Pattern: The crystal is distinguished by a beautiful “swirl” pattern cut or molded into its sides.
    • Dome Lid: The inkwell is topped with a hinged dome lid, made of brass.

Baccarat is one of France’s most renowned crystal manufacturers, celebrated for its high-quality, hand-blown, and meticulously cut crystal. The combination of Baccarat crystal with finely hand-worked brass points to a piece made for a discerning clientele.
