This figural inkwell is in the form of a baby’s high-button shoe, elevated by a horseshoe base and adorned with a butterfly pen rest. The baby’s high-button shoe features stitching, buttonholes, and the laces that run through the eyelets.  The top of the shoe has a spring-loaded, hinged lid which, with the push of a button, opens to reveal the glass inkwell inside.
