This piece was designed by Anton Chotka (active 1875-1925). The set is an example of a popular production in Austria early in the 20th century, when Franz Xavier Bergman (1861 -1936) opened a foundry in Vienna. Anton Chotka was one of the prominent artists who worked for Bergman.
