This brass and copper inkwell features a shield-like shape with a broad, flat base that tapers into a rounded top. The base is adorned with ornamental cut-outs and embossed designs, including stylized leaves and geometric patterns typical of the Arts & Crafts movement. The central part of the inkwell is made of copper and has a cylindrical shape, capped with a lid that has a small handle on top for opening.
