WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) made this silverplated inkwell. It features an ornate design with a symmetrical shape and three lobes. The central part showcases a raised decorative element resembling a stylized plant or floral motif. The handles on either side also bear similar decorative elements. The overall shape reflects the flowing and organic style typical of Art Nouveau, a movement WMF was known for during its peak production years. The underside is marked “WMF” with “EP” (electroplate) and “OX” (oxidized).
