This crystal inkwell is set on a stamped brass base, which is elaborately trimmed with ornate floral and scrollwork designs. The hinged gilt brass collar extends over the shoulder in a lambrequin style, characterized by its ornamental, draped design that resembles a decorative hanging or valance. There is a pen holder attached to the base.
