This Art Nouveau brass double inkstand has two inkwells with ornate, pointed lids, each adorned with intricate floral and leaf patterns typical of the Art Nouveau style. The base of the inkstand is also elaborately decorated with flowing, organic lines and floral motifs, including a prominent flower at the front center. The handles on either side of the base are elegantly curved. This piece exemplifies the Art Nouveau movement’s emphasis on natural forms and intricate detailing in functional objects. It is marked “3504” on its underside.
