This inkstand embodies the quintessential Art Nouveau style, characterized by its organic forms, flowing lines, and intricate detailing. A sculpted woman in a state of repose lies on large, sinuous leaves which form the base of the inkstand.

The inkwell is signed “Dusouchet” – Pierre Leon Dusouchet (French, 1876 – 1936).

Sold for $761 in February 2024
