This cylindrical lithographed biscuit tin was made for “Huntley & Palmer” in 1928 and was titled “Inkstand”. After the biscuits were consumed, the piece converted to a writing case which included a ceramic inkwell (missing with this piece).
The decoration is of a British hunt scene. The center features huntsmen and women on chase. Pictured on the sides are a hunting cap, riding crop & horn, and the fox.
