Measuring Base: 11” x 6 ¾” x 2 ½” high; the cylinders are 2 ½” high with a 3” diameter bottom.

Complete late 18th Century standish in pewter with the maker’s marks of the Irish pewter master Joseph Austen of Cork Ireland (active 1785 – 1817).

With a rectangular design with ball feet, there is a pull-out storage drawer with knob. The maker’s marks are on the inside of the drawer. Three round cylinders rest on the base: a sander, an inkwell (with its original hand-blown clear glass bottle), and an empty container for storage.
