Sterling silver inkwell with a square base and a curved concave shape with pen holder. The hinged lid opens to access the blown glass insert. The underside is covered with leather. The inkwell has British hallmarks for Chester 1910. The partial maker’s mark is A.DLd, believed to be Arthur Downing Ltd.
