Champlevé Bronze Enamel Inkstand with Kingfisher

This oval base inkstand with ball feet and intricate bronze casting features a kingfisher bird finial on the lid covering the inkwell. Detailed enameling primarily in turquoise compliments decorative wreaths framing a pen holder. The piece is stamped “France” on the underside.

Sold for $225 in August 2023
