This figural inkstand depicts three ladies posed as though sharing a secret. One woman has her arm outstretched holding a curtain which secludes the trio, one with arms folded behind her head with closed dreamy eyes, and the third listening intently. The inkstands with detailed dresses and accessories separate at the center to reveal the inkwells hidden inside.

Pictured are five different versions. One is larger (9” x 6” x 7”) and has two inkwells and a sander. The other three measure 7” x 4” x 5” and have one inkwell and a sander.

The larger version sold for $225 in August 2023.  A smaller version sold for $116.25 in March 2018. A smaller version sold for $142 in June 2024
