Measuring 3 ½” square at the bottom; 1 ¾” high.

Sterling silver and cut crystal Victorian era inkwell made by John Grinsell & Co. London, England. It is hallmarked sterling silver with a lion passant, city mark for London, and date mark for 1905. The crystal inkwell has no monogram. The bottom of the inkwell is marked “MacMichael L.S. Avoley St. W” where the inkwell was retailed in England.

Sold for $112 in May 2023
