19th Century French “Old Paris” porcelain and bronze encrier, double inkwell, with a sitting cherub reading a book. The inkstand is bronze with two round porcelain inkwells with hand-painted flowers over a light blue glaze.
Figures of a bird perched on a pile of leaves adorn the inkwell covers. The porcelain oval tray in front is hand-painted with a flying cherub surrounded by colorful bouquets of flowers. Detailed bronze work with leaves decorates the front.
