Hand-painted porcelain Victorian inkwell features a woman, sitting with a book, with an angel on her shoulder.
The Erphila mark was used on porcelain imported by Eberling & Reuss of Philadelphia, PA. The import firm operated starting in 1886 and continued into the 1900’s.
