A heavy bronze inkwell by Just Andersen (Danish, 1884- 1943) with glass inkwell marked with the “Just” logo, model D93, and “DISCO METAL” in a triangle, referring to the coating of bronze.

Andersen is famous for his metalworks, sculpture, tableware, jewelry, decorative arts in bronze and pewter. Stylistically from Danish Arts and Crafts through Deco to sleek modern designs. Andersen was a contemporary of Georg Jensen.

Sold for $112 in November 2024
