This is a souvenir from Blackpool, a seaside resort on the northwest coast of England. It features a pair of hinged glass inkwells molded onto a pressed glass base in the shape of a fish. In between the inkwells is a picture of Blackpool’s beach front titled “Blackpool, rough sea”. The Blackpool tower, inspired by the Eiffel Tower, opened to the public on May 14th, 1894. When it opened, Blackpool tower was the tallest man-made structure in the British Empire.
