This Roycroft inkwell, an example of the Arts and Crafts movement, is made of hammered copper with a patina finish, giving it a rich, aged look. The inkwell is square shaped with a flat lid that has raised edges and a tooled floral in the center. The body features an embossed honeycomb pattern and two matching florals on opposite sides, all framed by a tooled band that wraps around the inkwell. The Roycroft mark of a stylized “R” with a curled tail is an early mark.
