A cut glass inkwell is encased in a silverplated holder, which features intricate scrollwork and curvilinear patterns. The scrolls extend outward to form a pen holder. The openwork design of the silver-plated holder allows glimpses of the glass inkwell inside. James Dixon & Sons mark.
