This inkstand’s base is made of marble, featuring a mottled pattern in shades of green and white. The bronze framework is intricately designed with scrollwork and decorative elements, including a central motif that resembles a shield or crest. The front feet of the inkstand are shaped like winged griffins. These mythical creatures are detailed with feathers on their wings. On top of the marble base, there are two inkwells with hinged domed lids.
