This inkwell features a clear, faceted glass base with a bulbous shape. The lid is made of brass and has a scalloped, shell-like design with a finial on top. What’s particularly interesting about this inkwell is the built-in pen holder, which is also made of brass. The pen holder is incorporated into the brass mounting for the lid, extending outward and curving slightly upwards to securely hold a pen.
