A Gouda pottery inkwell in the “Madeleine” décor with a glazed mixture of royal blues and turquoise. The lid has a looped handle. Marked on the bottom with the symbol for 1927 and the initials JVL for artist Johanna C. van Leeuwen, a first period artist.
