An Art Deco hand-painted porcelain figural inkwell depicting a spotted dog (long-eared hound) sitting beside his bowl. The covered food bowl serves as the inkwell and has a removable insert. The dog has a hole in his snout that serves as a pen holder. Stamped on underside “Creations P B Paris, Made in France” in a circle.  Believed to have been modeled and made by Georges Bastard.
