The body and lid of this Vaseline inkwell are cut with hexagonal lozenges – a lozenge shape with two flat sides. The body is deeply cut into four beveled blocks on each of the four sides. The lid is faceted with bevels on all 6 sides ending in a flat top. In natural light it is a beautiful Vaseline yellow green. Under black light it glows a brilliant uranium yellow.
