A bronze inkstand in the form of a soldier lying prone, aiming his rifle. The casting gives detail to the soldier’s uniform, including boots, pants, and jacket. The helmet with a pointed top resembles German or Austrian headgear from that time. The intricately designed rifle details the stock, barrel, and sight.
