This cast metal, cold-painted inkstand features a boy wearing a fez, kneeling, his arm outstretched holding a tablet. The tree stump next to him holds a porcelain inkwell. The top of the stump is hinged. The underside has a maker’s mark – around a domed crown are stamped “Trademark – Coronet – Registered – Austria”.
