A heavy glass inkwell sits in a brass, rounded-corner tray. The lines and curves of the tray are pierced with a naturalistic design. The inkwell is held in place by an applied fitted brass square with crenelated sides. A leaf-like hinged lid on the inkwell completes the inkstand.
