Buyer Be Aware! – Arthur Court “Inkwells”
Arthur Court, founded in 1966, is a company that designs and produces giftware. Starting around 1976, the company designed pieces referred to as “trinket boxes” or “inkwells” in the form of animals, including a bulldog, rabbit, penguin, and bird. The body for each animal is turned wood, coconut shaped. Brass heads, feet, wings, tails, feathers, etc. were then attached to the wood, with the head hinged, opening to a brass cup.
