Bohemian glass inkwell with brass leaf form cap. It features a round body with an iridescent finish, displaying hues of purple, blue, pink, and gold. This shimmering effect is characteristic of the Greta Papillon style, known for its butterfly-like iridescence.
Founded in 1831 by Johann Meyra the firm was named Wilhelm Kralik Sohn in 1840 and continued production until 1911 at the Eleonorenhain and Ernstbrunn Glassworks in Bohemia. The firm produced beautiful colored and iridescent glass similar to Loetz, but normally not with a ground pontil.
